User interface documentation is for the InterSense IS-900 wand. Usage may vary
depending on input device hardware and VR Juggler configuration of those devices.

Menu Interaction
|
|
If no file is specified at start-up the menu appears by default. Point the wand
at the desired menu option to select it. A red outline will indicate which option
is selected. Pull the trigger to select an option. Press the hat (joystick) button
to toggle the menu on/off.

Selection
|
When the menu is not visible, press the trigger to toggle between selection
and navigation modes. A red pointer will appear in selection mode.
In selection mode, the hat controls animation playback:
- hat button: pause/resume
- rock hat forward: increase speed
- rock hat back: decrease speed
- rock hat right: when paused, increment one frame
The buttons control selection:
- red: simulate a mouse click on the object that the pointer is intersecting
- yellow: highlight the node that the pointer is intersecting
- green: highlight the next highest node in the scene graph
- blue: deselect highlighted nodes

Navigation
|
When not in selection or menu mode (e.g. red pointer is not visible), the blue
button will cycle through the navigation modes:

Fly
- Point the wand in a direction
- Press forward on the hat to fly in that direction
- Pull back on the hat to fly in reverse
- Push the hat left or right to turn

Drive
- Same as Fly but locked to the floor.

CAD
- red button: hold and rotate the wand to rotate the model
- yellow button: hold and move the wand to move the model
- green button: hold and move the wand up & down to scale
the model up & down
|
Red and yellow buttons together will reset the model to it's original location.
